WP-O-Matic is maybe the oldest and most known wordpress autoblogging plugin.
If you are not familiar with the term, autoblogging is a common practice that has been mastered by many internet marketers to increase their traffic and earnings. The idea is to create dozens, hundreads or even thousands blogs and have it updated automatically, as it is almost impossible to manually create new content for such a big number blogs each and every day.
Having that said, Wp-O-Matic uses RSS feeds to create new blog posts and also organizes them into niche categories. WP-O-Matic is also able to retrieve updated fresh RSS feeds automatically on a fixed schedule using cronjobs and turn them into posts.
Both WP-O-Matic and the feeds it uses are free. Related RSS feeds can be added to this plugin to create targeted relevant content for your blog. Although some people may argue about this, RSS feeds were invented precisely to be republished (syndicated).
With WP-O-Matic, fresh search engine spider luring content can be generated for blogs on auto-pilot.
UPDATE:
Apparently Wp-O-Matic is not working with the latest Wordpress version and the support/development stopped somewhere along the way, so i removed the download link.

wp-o-matic is still working fine on my 3.3.1 install. I noticed it's not available through the plugins panel in the back office, but I uploaded it via FTP and it still runs fine.
Wp-o-matic does not work for me either. Yes, you can install it and shows in plugins list as activated, but that's all. It does not post anything, cronjobs are not working.

Thanks for this hub. I was getting crazy trying to make wp-o-matic work. I thought i am doing something wrong. I am going to try Multipress Content now.
